#3075 | 4"x3" | Pre-Columbian Pueblo pottery, Southwest US, 550 A.D. - 1300 A.D., a small corrugated bowl or cup, tempered with gruel, a mixture of sand, crushed pottery, and what appears to be basalt grit, the clay is rolled into strips and then coiled one upon another and molded by hand, the design is created by pinching the clay, although the rim is broken, this kind of utilitarian ware was meant to be used hard and then discarded, the people are called Anasazi which means Ancient Ones | $189.00 |
