#10-1863 5x5.2 Antique Kashmir Shawl, hand woven wool, Twill Tapestry weave with interlocking wefts, Northern India, dated 1863 in the small black center, the black center is intact, but the shawl is a little weak in places due to oxidation of the blacks, outer borders are dog eared in places $975.00

The cartouche in the black center is embroidered with the a 63, shorthand for 1863.

The shawl also has the date 1280 embroidered onto it, which is also 1863 in our calendar.
