#3125E 1 1/4" x 1" A pentagonal point with a notched stem should fall under the type "Jacks Reef Corner Notched", but with a side tang and two beveled edges at the top point, and also being from North Georgia near the North Carolina line, I like to call it a Pee Dee knife, likely dates to the Late Woodland to Mississippian Period, ca. 1500 - 1000 B.P. $14.00
#3125D 7/8" x 1 1/2" This thin Pentagonal point (arrowhead) is called a Pee Dee Point in the South, (Jacks Reef Pentagonal in the North), beautiful semi-translucent quartz, likely dates to the Late Woodland to Mississippian Period, ca. 1500 - 1000 B.P., North Georgia near the North Carolina line, the discoloration at the base is probably evidence of hafting $12.00

Point vs Arrowhead: It is thought that the bow and arrow appeared in the US Southeast about 3000 yeas ago. So if the artifact

is about 3000 years old or less, and of a small size to fit on an arrow shaft, then I call it an arrowhead. If it is older than that,

I call it a stone point regardless of size.
