#2292 27 1/2" x 56 1/2" Navajo Child's Blanket (Serape), hand woven hand spun wool, SW United States, ca. 1900, this one has an hour glass constriction 13 inches from the top, I see it in some of these kinds of blankets, this one is created by using a limited amount of wedge weave, it folds over nicely at this juncture, and I wonder if this was done because the blanket was intended to be worn in cape fashion, there is a spirit line in one corner, near mint condition POR
