#2430 3.5x5.10 Seichur rug, hand knotted wool, Eastern Caucasus, 1930's, but very good example of weaving from this part of the world, rare green field with carnations and roses, and the falcon head border is done quite nicely, very good pile with a small amount of professional restoration that is only seen from the back $3400.00

The blue and white outer border is a series of stylized falcon heads.

The Saker Falcon is native to the Caucasus Mountains.
